Getting Hot – then wet?

With the cloud clearing you can certainly feel the strength of the sun ramping up rapidly. We’ve got a warming trend through the next few days – and then a quick burst of heat on Monday. Check out the animation below:

You can see the heat clearing out quickly mid-week…and it looks like we could see some more rain around that time. Here’s the forecast from a range of models:

All of them show some rain kicking in through the middle of next week as the trough that is bringing the change stalls close-by. Some models show some big totals…a long way off yet but definitely something to keep an eye on. Will post more closer to the time as models settle down.
