Something different – the westerly winds this week will bring some windy weather across our area…but just inland the same system will likely bring some snow. It’s a few days off but the signs are good, and the best day for snow appears to be this coming Saturday, with snow up around the high ground of Glen Innes and the other usual culprits through the day. Always awesome to have snow falling within a couple of hours drive of our Shire! Could well be a dusting in Ebor – so now on the ground within Bello Shire is a possibility. …but then come this weekend the models show the chance of snow falling on the high ground with snow on the ground through Saturday and into Saturday night. Here’s the forecast snow depth for 10pm Saturday:
Looking like some even better totals to the west of Sydney…and the snow fields will get a real dump. Here’s the totals further south:
Once the westerlies die out through Sunday and Monday we’ll see temperatures drop overnight in the valleys (as well as up high). Here’s the forecast temperatures overnight Monday:
…Sadly by that time the snow will be gone, but with low humidity levels and cleaqr skies the stars will look amazing. Enjoy 🙂
